For Brazilian users, Wise has introduced the Pix key feature to its app, granting full access to all Pix services directly within the platform.

➡️ The process of making payments, receiving transfers, and depositing Brazilian reals into Wise accounts has become significantly more streamlined.

➡️ To use Pix as a payment method, users must register a key, which can be their CPF (individual taxpayer ID), CNPJ(corporate taxpayer ID), phone number, email address, or a randomly generated code.

➡️ Additional context: prior to this update, Upwork announced the integration of Wise as its new infrastructure partner for freelancer payments. The “Direct to local bank” option allows users in selected regions across South America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe to transfer their earnings from international clients to local bank accounts faster and more efficiently.
