🎉 BLIK🇵🇱 and Stripe🇺🇸 integrate: Polish users can now use their local payment system across more than 30 markets

For international merchants, the integration provides access to BLIK, a payment method that accounts for more than 70% of e-commerce transactions in Poland.

➡️ How it works: BLIK is available through Stripe’s dynamic payment methods system. In practice, transaction data, including credentials and payment amounts, is generated and securely encrypted for each individual transaction, including payments made via QR codes.

➡️ One of Stripe’s features is that merchants using this function do not need to build separate integrations with payment systems to offer local payment methods. Once activated through Stripe, BLIK is displayed to Polish users based on various factors, including the location from which the transaction is initiated, the currency, and the nature of the payment.

➡️ Results: according to Stripe, companies offering BLIK to customers in Poland report an average 46% increase in conversion.

➡️ Worth noting: in July 2026, as part of the partnership between Stripe and BLIK, OpenAI users in Poland gained access to recurring BLIK payments. This allows customers to pay for subscriptions, including ChatGPT Plus, directly through the system. The two companies also plan to expand their cooperation into the field of AI agent commerce, although no timeline for the project has been announced so far.
