☠️ Beware‼️ New malware threatens NFC payments.⚠️

The advanced NGate virus targets Android devices and uses NFC technology to steal credit and debit card data.

NGate is a modification of a legitimate tool called NFCGate, originally developed in 2015 for research purposes. It was created by students from the Secure Mobile Networking Lab at the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany🇩🇪).

How it works: Once installed on a victim's device, NGate uses NFC to scan and collect information from nearby payment cards. The stolen data is then sent to the attacker’s device, allowing them to create cloned cards for ATM withdrawals.

Distribution methods: Phishing schemes and malicious apps disguised as legitimate software.

The “new threat” was discovered by Czechs after the malware attacked 3 Czech banks.
