The Specialized Cybercrime Prosecutor’s Office (Ufeic), the Judicial Department of the San Isidro district, and the National Communications Agency (Enacom) were involved in the process.

⏩ According to the judicial investigation, the identified websites delayed winnings or prevented withdrawals, while funds were manipulated by underground platforms.

⏩ The investigation also revealed the absence of identity and age verification mechanisms; authorities identified the involvement of minors both as users and in operational roles.

⏩ Informational note: according to a report by the Association of State Lotteries of Argentina (ALEA), in 2025, 3 out of 10 Argentines placed bets in digital formats (including unauthorized sites), and 68% of players belong to Generation Z (aged 18–25). Nearly 70% of respondents use digital wallets for payments.
