Using basic equipment and improvised resources, the workshop in question produced national ID cards (DNI), forged driver’s licenses, and counterfeit credit cards.

⏩ The cards were reportedly used primarily to purchase household appliances and electronics, which were later resold.

⏩ Police dismantled the illegal workshop, where authorities seized 7 printers, 2 laminating machines, 2 stamping devices, 1 laptop, 2 processors, 2 radios, 4 memory cards, 5 USB drives, and other equipment. Investigators also found templates for 172 driver’s licenses, 17 identity documents containing real personal data but altered photographs, and 32bank cards from different financial institutions. Weapons were also discovered on site.

⏩ One of the most significant findings involved documentation connected to a private courier service. According to investigators, one employee intercepted credit cards that were supposed to be delivered to their legitimate owners and redirected them to the workshop for modification and fraudulent use.

⏩ All 14 members of the group were arrested.
