📎 The Association of State Lotteries of Argentina (ALEA) organized a seminar for representatives of public and private organizations from Argentina and Paraguay to exchange experience in combating illegal gambling.

📎 Participants included: representatives of ALEA, the Buenos Aires City Lottery (LOTBA), the Argentine Chamber of Casinos, Bingo Halls and Related Establishments (CASCBA), the Specialized Gambling Prosecutor's Office of CABA (FEJA) and the Judicial Investigations Corps (CIJ) of Argentina, as well as the Paraguayan Association of Gambling Operators (APOJA), the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Paraguay, the Secretariat for the Prevention of Money or Asset Laundering (SEPRELAD), the National Police of Paraguay and operational teams.

📎 Topics covered included presentations on the characteristics of the illegal gambling ecosystem, player recruitment mechanisms on digital platforms, investigation methods, preservation of digital evidence, risks related to money laundering, regulatory tools for combating illegal activities and cross-border cooperation between law enforcement agencies.

📎 Agreements: participants agreed to address the issue through joint efforts, strengthen cooperation and develop institutional capacities.
