📱 Apple Takes a Crypto Bite: USDC Issuer Circle to Enable Contactless Payments on iPhone

This development comes after Apple’s recent decision to open its Near Field Communication (NFC) chip to external developers.

▶️ Previously: NFC capabilities on the iPhone were limited to Apple’s Wallet app and Apple Pay.

▶️ Now: This change will allow point-of-sale systems to interact directly with blockchain-based wallets. Scanning QR codes or manually entering wallet addresses will no longer be necessary.
